It's only impossible if you think it is

Hey readers!

I'm so busy looking for a new room, it's driving me nuts! I can get this great room, in a great house, in a great neighborhood. But I can't get the study-finance for non-residents when I live there. AAH! Dilemma, dilemma. I could afford it, if I would really want to, but I've got to save some money (in fact, a lot of money), because I wanna go back to America next year. I'll need at least 4500 euros by January 2013.
So I'll just have to keep looking I guess. Wish me luck!

Here's an outfit from a few days ago, when the sun was still shining happily:

& a pic of Eric. I always take some test-pictures of him to check the light and colours and stuff. And I liked this one :)

I'm gonna go to bed now, so good night!

Loes

Let your faith be bigger than your fear

Hello :)

Here's another outfit :) Today I've been shopping at Primark again and I'm kind of ashamed of it. I spent quite a lot of money last time (over my budget) and planned to not go shopping anymore this month.  I definitely failed. But (there's a but, yes) I didn't spend that much money this time! Only €26,-, for 5 items. I bought a pair of shorts with aztec print, assymetrical beachdress, tights, a tube top and flip flops. I'll show these purchases later this week :)
The rest of my time, when I'm not shopping haha, I'm busy studying and laying in the sun on my balcony. And of course in the evenings I've got those 'hospiteer'-nights, a reader told it was called lodging in English ;)

Oh and this song makes me so extremely happy that I'm dancing around my room every time I hear it. I should definitely not listen to this in the bus, I would totally embarrass myself.

we do what we need to be free

Hello :)

I tried to find the English definition of  'hospiteren', but the word doesn't seem to exist... My brother (who's back to the USA now) told me that in America it's not a big deal to get a house as a student. When we tells his colleagues that I found room in Utrecht, they're all 'okay, so?', while here in Holland we're almost congratulating each other on having our own place. So I guess 'hospiteren' doesn't even exist over there!
For the non-Dutch readers, I'll try to explain what it is. When a student needs a room, he'll look for one on the internet and leave a message on an advertisement. He might be invited to come over and meet the roommates (that's what 'hospiteren' is), but average amount of people that get invited is about 20. So even when he gets invited, he's only got a chance of 1/20 of actually getting the room.
Tonight I've got two of those 'hospiteer'-nights. Please wish me luck. I really really want a new room, otherwise I'll have to move back into my parents' house!

(these are my new shorts btw! :)

there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shore, no matter how many times it's been sent away

Heyyah ladies (and a few gentlemen),

I said I'd show my Primark purchases last Friday, but I was just too lazy to take the pictures. So today I finally did! (I do kind of have reason, I had to study for an exam I had today all weekend, so today I'm done studying and I've got time to take pics again ;) All of it, except for the high waist shorts, are from Primark.
I screwed up my exam big time, by the way, so I could've taken the pics anyway. Please hope for me that my grade will be good enough.. รถ

I bought this beaautiful purple bikini. The colour looks really good on my skin, which is kinda pale, so I love it!

And this lace dress. I think it's wearable in summer as well as in winter, with some tights and a blazer :)

I finally found a nice red dress! It's a real summer dress, not wearable at all in winter. Actually I need to iron it, but.. I don't know, laziness I guess.

The New Look high waist shorts! I reaaally love them and they fit perfectly. This is the back:
The front:

And a new pair of sandals. I left my last pair in America and I was out of sandals and since the weather has been so good lately, I needed a new pair :)

And, last but not least, a new bag! My former bag was green as well, a darker shade though, and the strap started to split. I love this minty green colour!
Next post I'll show you an outfit with my new shorts!

Have a nice evening :)

You can have whatever you are willing to struggle for

Hellohellooo,

Today was totally awesome! I'm writing this post at 0:30 in the morning, so in fact I'm talking about yesterday, but still ;) I have finally been to primark again, the last time was about two years ago. Now you might think something like ''come onnn, it's just a friggin shop!'', but once I decided I needed to go there, I was absolutely determined to do it. I will show all of my purchases next post, I guess that will be friday.
Of course not only primark made my day. It also was a friends' birthday, so I met up with her and some other friends. I hadn't seen them in a very long time and it was good to see and talk to all of them again :)
And, to top it all off, the weather was great! If I wouldn't have been a redhead, I might have gotten a tan. But I am a redhead and getting a tan is a mission impossible ;)

Well, anyways, here's another outfit of mine :)

Enjoy your day! (or night, of course)

Loes

A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor

Heyy!

Last friday I went to a hotel with my boyfriend, one at the shore. It was reallly nice! We got there in the evening, but the next morning we saw that our room had seasight :) This was our view:

Our bed was really bouncy, so I started jumping it. Eric looked at me like I'd gone crazy..

But soon enough Eric joined me and we had a lot of fun :D

Afterwards we went into the city to get ourselves some breakfast, since the breakfast at the hotel was extremely expensive. Or actually, it was more like a brunch and I topped mine off with a piece of crumb cake :)
Then we went to the beach and sat there watching other people and dogs hysterically running around.
And watching kites :)
Afterwards Eric took some photo's of me and we went back home again.

It was a great weekend :)

Love,

Loes
