The harder you fall, the higher you bounce

Hello lovely readers and followers :)

I've got some really good news: I got the job! Yaay!! I even had my very first working day yesterday already. So let me get this straight: handed out my resume's on saturday, job interview on tuesday, working on thursday. Never got a job this fast! :) So right now I'm working at C&A, where I'll be working the weekends mostly (it's in Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht, if you'd like to stop by and say hello..;).
This also means I can save some money for my vacation. I'm planning on going on a surfing holiday with my boyfriend, in the south of France. I've always wanted to learn how to surf, it has been on my bucketlist for a few years already. So that would be awesome!

The cat-shirt I'm wearing is from H&M, the necklace and aztec jeans are from New Yorker and the shoes are from Van Haren. Got the earrings on ebay.

& boyfriend :)

Enjoy your weekend :)

Sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage and I promise; something good will come of it

 Hellooo dear readers :)

I'm having a job interview in 3 hours, wahhh! Last week I left my resume at a few shops and at one shop they said I could come on an interview right away. I'm really excited! It'll only be a weekendjob, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Wish me luck!
And what did you guys do on valentines day? :) My boyfriend and me planned on going to the zoo, but we did really have the money haha. So we're gonna do that some other day and on valentines we just went to Bagels&Beans (yummmm), made ourselves a delicious dinner (sweet potato fries with rosemary, artichokes and veggie-cheese-burger - since I'm a vegetarian) and we watched Breaking Bad. Seriously guys, Breaking Bad is SUCH an awesome show. It's got a 9.4 on IMDB and already the very first episode is so extremely exciting! You can watch it here. I'm addicted.

The bikes-shirt I'm wearing is from forever21, bought it in America 1,5 year ago. The shorts are from Pull&Bear, bought in Barcelona last summer. The knock off  Jeffrey Campbell shoes are from ebay and I had them for my birthday. Wasn't until now that I realized the entire outfit reminds me of happy moments! :)

& le boyfriends outfit :D

Have a great week all!

If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything

 Hey guys :)

A new outfitpost finally ;) There's a lot of ''new'' clothing I haven't ever showed you guys yet, because of my pauze on blogging. In the meantime I did, of course, shop a lot of new stuff. Like the skirt I'm wearing here! I found it at New Yorker for only 3 euro's as I recall and now it's one of my favorites. The necklace is from ebay, also ''new'' (I've had it for 2 months already by now haha).
This week a new semester of college started. Having college again after a few weeks of no-college makes you appreciete the weekend a lot more. Even if you're not gonna do anything at all - or maybe especially than? I don't know. But I don't have any plans for the weekend and I look forward to it. Yay!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Make the money; don't let the money make you

 Hi guys!

Since I haven't done any outfit-updates lately - because I just wore boring stuff or didn't really feel like taking pics -, I thought it would be nice to have a whatever-update :) So this post contains some stuff I've bought and some random photo's from my week.
Last week I went on a little shopping spree with some friends and we went to a new Primark shop. I've been having some money troubles lately because of some hassle with studyfinance and stuff and I guess it's obvious that Primark is the place to be when you're     shopping on a budget.. :) Here's what I bought!

Bikini! Not quite necessary yet, but it looked cute, which is a good reason for buying it. Period.

Pyjama shorts, for only four euros. And: also cute. :)

A nice and warm knitted circlescarf. This was one of the things I did actually need and it was only
ONE euro, yay!

Simple black pumps. I chose this pair because the heel wasn't too high: these shoes will be worn
during work. I'll be working as a hostess at a football stadium and I needed black pumps for the
job. I didn't even have those yet, I fail in basic clothing :(

These armygreen skinnyjeans are SO soft and comfy, woah. Most comfortable pair of jeans ever!

This is the only thing I didn't buy at Primark; it's from H&M. I had a housewarming party later
that week with an animal-theme. I already knew I was gonna be dressed as a cat, so the shirt
matched perfectly :)
Also new: these ikea chairs and an elephant! Bought the chairs with my housemates for our
shared room/living room (it's acutally way too tiny for a living room, but who cares) and we tried
them out on the way home in the tram :) The elephant was an impulse purchase, but then again: it
was cute. So I bought it.

This is me with my fancypancy bunny-elephant! Bought the bunny-ears for my housewarming
party later that night, with the animal-theme. I was pretty sure not everyone had something to
dress up with, so I thought some extra bunny-ears wouldn't be out of place ;)

And finally: the housewarming party! You can spot me on the right with the cat-ears ;) I took a lot
of photos, but with an analogue camera, so I'll have to get them developed first. I really can't wait to

see them!

Also, I would like to recommend some music to you guys! It's from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, two rappers who make really catchy music with awesome lyrics. The three following songs are my favourites atm:

Trift Shop:

Same Love, a song about gay rights:

& last but not least: Make The Money. The title of this blogpost came from this song. 'Make the money, don't let the money make you. Change the game, don't let the game change you.'

Enjoy :)

Love,

Loes
