There is a huge amount of freedom that comes to you when you take nothing personally

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!

Since the weather is kinda shitty right now (where I live at least it is), I thought it would be nice to start this post with a happy summer song! I suggest you put this song on before reading on.

To stay in this happy mood, I will only tell the good news. This weekend I will pick up the furniture for my new room, which includes a double bed for only €5,- and a wardrobe for free! And yes, they're secondhand, of course. I will buy a mattress and the blankets new though.
And Wednesday I will actually move in my new room! My parents will bring some more furniture, like a table, a bookcase, some chairs and a mini-tv (the kind that is square haha). I can't wait, this is the first time living on my own with my own stuff. Yay!

AND: I see I've just reached the 200 followers! Thanks everyone!

In this outfit I'm wearing my DIY-bracelets :)

And a picture of Eric!

Have an awesome weekend. And let's pray for some sunshine ;)

Love,

Loes

Some people are so poor, all they have is money

Hello,

First, listen to this song by Maverick Sabre. Close your eyes if you please. This song has this calming effect on me:

Something else calming, I found out, is making bracelets. Last week a friend of mine showed me how to do it (buy some supercheap beads or bracelets with beads and make new ones out of them). I made an entire set of matchy-matchy new bracelets :)

The first one was the hardest, using two pieces of leather. It took about 1,5 hours I guess, but I like the result :)

After that I still had a lot of beads left and made three others, but without leather. All three of them look quite alike, but are slightly different.
This one is the 'neutral' one:

The one with leaves:

And one with flowers:

And this is how they all look together. The day I was making them, I wore a top in the exact same minty colour, so it matched perfectly (didn't do it on purpose though!).

The day before I bought these really pretty earrings at a new shop in town ( I've worn them almost every day since I bought them):

And now, the best part: I found a new room! I'm so exited to move in there, even though it'll only be for about three months. Also my new address is just 5 minutes away from where I live now, so I know the neighborhood already :)

I've got to get up early tomorrow, so I wish you all good night!

Love,

Loes
