Hey chipiron, todos los dias sale el sol!

Heyyy guys,

My birthday is in exactly a week! I will be turning 20. That exact same day, I've got this big important presentation for my globalisation-class. Friday next week I will actually celebrate my birthday, but the same weekend I'll have to study for my re-sit for the same globalisation-class. And the weekend after that I have to study for my exam for anthropology. But THEN, I'm free and happy and cheerful and stressfree and the sun will be shining until eternity. Or at least until the beginning of the next year of school. ;)
I've been thinking about changing my blog for a looong time now and I think I will finally do it after all the exams. I will update my layout, header, everything! Even the posts will be different. But for now I'll keep it this way, to keep it a lil' easy in stressful times ;)

Btw. I love this song. It has awakened my love for the Spanish language again. And Spanish music. And Spain. So I will go to Spain this summer no matter what.

Love,

If you hear a voice within you say 'you can not paint', then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced

Hi readers :)

My sister just came over and cut my hair. I planned to only have the dead ends cut off (5cm or so), but I didn't realize that my dead ends are in fact more like 15cm. So when all of that was gone, POW, I felt pretty bald. I feel so... normal! Usually my hair drawes all the attention because of its length and I don't think that'll happen anymore at the moment. But I like it this way, more volume and even a bit more curly :)
The pictures in this post were taken a few days ago, so you can't see the result yet right now. But this weekend I'll take new pics :)
The short I'm wearing is a new one, too, by the way. I've got way too many shorts, but I like them so much! Maybe I'll just sell a few. I need the money anyway..

Eric and I went the parc with my parents in the weekend, where we got some sorbets :)

Enjoy your day and have a happy weekend!

The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs… one step at a time.

Hellooo :)

It's weeekenddd, yeah! I'm so done with my exams (I screwed up all of them) and now I've got two weeks off. I'll be working, though, from 5am till 9am, three days a week. I haven't gotten up that early since.. well.. ever? But it's for a good cause: I need to make some money for my exchange to America next year. I really CAN'T wait! A few days ago I was reading through some old blog-posts of mine, of when I was in America and it made me feel kind of homesick. Even though it's not my home, but okay.
I'll just keep all of that in mind when I'm getting up at 3:30 in the morning.

Here's an outfit with my new asymmetrical dress from Primark. It's see-trough (I guess it's meant to wear over a bikini at the beach), so I'm wearing a black bodycon underneath :)

Have a greaaat weekend and HAPPY EASTER!

the grass is greener where you water it

Hey guys.

how was your weekend? Too bad the sun wasn't really shining, but my weekend was nice anyway. Kicked it off with diner a and a movie with friends. We saw The Hunger Games and it was SO cool! I didn't really know what to expect and I haven't read the books, but it kicked ass. I totally recommend to everyone :)
Spent the rest of the weekend with my boyfriend and on Sunday I saw my family again. I don't get to see my family very often, usually once a year. Last family-day was while I was in America, so I guess I hadn't seen them in 1,5 year or so.

Last week I finally bought a black blazer, it's from H&M:

and this minty lace top, from New Yorker:

And here's my latest primark purchases:

(this is a bandeau top:)

Let your faith be bigger than your fear

Hello :)

Here's another outfit :) Today I've been shopping at Primark again and I'm kind of ashamed of it. I spent quite a lot of money last time (over my budget) and planned to not go shopping anymore this month.  I definitely failed. But (there's a but, yes) I didn't spend that much money this time! Only €26,-, for 5 items. I bought a pair of shorts with aztec print, assymetrical beachdress, tights, a tube top and flip flops. I'll show these purchases later this week :)
The rest of my time, when I'm not shopping haha, I'm busy studying and laying in the sun on my balcony. And of course in the evenings I've got those 'hospiteer'-nights, a reader told it was called lodging in English ;)

Oh and this song makes me so extremely happy that I'm dancing around my room every time I hear it. I should definitely not listen to this in the bus, I would totally embarrass myself.

there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shore, no matter how many times it's been sent away

Heyyah ladies (and a few gentlemen),

I said I'd show my Primark purchases last Friday, but I was just too lazy to take the pictures. So today I finally did! (I do kind of have reason, I had to study for an exam I had today all weekend, so today I'm done studying and I've got time to take pics again ;) All of it, except for the high waist shorts, are from Primark.
I screwed up my exam big time, by the way, so I could've taken the pics anyway. Please hope for me that my grade will be good enough.. รถ

I bought this beaautiful purple bikini. The colour looks really good on my skin, which is kinda pale, so I love it!

And this lace dress. I think it's wearable in summer as well as in winter, with some tights and a blazer :)

I finally found a nice red dress! It's a real summer dress, not wearable at all in winter. Actually I need to iron it, but.. I don't know, laziness I guess.

The New Look high waist shorts! I reaaally love them and they fit perfectly. This is the back:
The front:

And a new pair of sandals. I left my last pair in America and I was out of sandals and since the weather has been so good lately, I needed a new pair :)

And, last but not least, a new bag! My former bag was green as well, a darker shade though, and the strap started to split. I love this minty green colour!
Next post I'll show you an outfit with my new shorts!

Have a nice evening :)

Love,

Loes
